Chatton's Defibrillator

As part of the Millennium celebrations, a book about the village of Chatton, past and present, was produced by Prof. Joy Palmer-Cooper. The proceeds from the sale of this book funded a number of community projects - one such project was to purchase a Public Access Defibrillator (PAD).

In collaboration with North East Ambulance Service, some of the villagers were trained in using an AED and the PAD was brought into service on the 8th December 2014.

It is located outside the Percy Arms in the centre of the village and available for anyone to use if the need arises.
